JUDICIAL APPOINTMENT

The British Columbia Court of Appeal welcomes the appointment of the Honourable Mr. Justice Peter G. Voith, a judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, to the Court of Appeal for British Columbia and the Court of Appeal of Yukon. The appointment is effective immediately. THE HONOURABLE LANCE S.G. FINCH

The Court recognizes the passing of the Honourable Lance S.G. Finch, former Chief Justice of the Court of Appeal (2001 - 2013), judge of this Court (1993 - 2001), and judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia (1983 - 1993). Former Chief Justice Finch passed away in the presence of his family on 30 August 2020, after a trip to his much loved summer retreat. Chief Justice Bauman has issued a press release.
