Court Policies
The Court of Appeal Operational Records Classification System (ORCS) establishes a classification system and retention and disposition authority for records relating to appeals brought to the British Columbia Court of Appeal. The British Columbia Court of Appeal has been in existence since 1910 and hears appeals from the Supreme Court of British Columbia, from the Provincial Court on some criminal matters, and reviews and appeals from some administrative boards and tribunals.
