JUDICIAL APPOINTMENT

The British Columbia Court of Appeal welcomes the appointment of the Honourable Mr. Justice G. Bruce Butler, a judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, to the Court of Appeal for British Columbia and the Court of Appeal of Yukon. The appointment is effective immediately. The Chief Justice has issued Publication Bans and Sealing Orders (Civil Practice Directive, 4 June 2018) concerning counsel’s obligations to inform the Court about the nature and existence of publication bans and sealing orders. This directive is effective on 11 June 2018.
