EXTENSION OF TIME - REFERENCE RE: PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ACT

A direction was issued with a deadline of 31 May 2018 relating to those who wish to express an interest in participating in this reference case. 

The Court has directed that the time for submissions be extended until 4:00pm on Monday 4 June 2018.  Potential interested persons must provide notice to the Court in the form directed before this date, as there will be no further extensions of time or opportunities to express an interest in participation.

SPECIAL SITTING - IN HONOUR OF THE LATE MR. JACK GILES, Q.C.

There will be a special sitting of the Court of Appeal for British Columbia in honour of the late Mr. Jack Giles, Q.C., a former partner at Farris and Company. Mr. Giles passed away on 27 March 2018.

This special sitting will be held on Friday, 22 June 2018 at 4:15 p.m. in Courtroom 60 of the Vancouver Law Courts.
