New Supreme Court Practice Directions, Family Practice Directions and Administrative Notices
To coincide with the coming into effect of the new Supreme Court Rules, a new collection of Practice Directions and Administrative Notices is being issued by the Court and will take effect on July 1, 2010. The new collection may be accessed at the following link:

All practice directions and notices to the profession which were issued prior to July 1, 2010, with the exception of the Criminal Practice Directions and the Electronic Evidence Practice Direction, are rescinded as of July 1, 2010.
The new collection is comprised of three categories:
- Administrative Notices (ANs)
- Practice Directions (PDs) which pertain to civil and general matters, and
- Family Practice Directions (FPDs) which pertain specifically to family law proceedings.
A new numbering system has been adopted, with the ANs, PDs, and FPDs each having a separate numerical sequence.
For the most part, the new collection of reflects changes made necessary to accurately reference the new Supreme Court Rules and Forms, but does not alter substantive content.
An Index and Table of Concordance have been prepared to assist users of the new collection. As new Practice Directions and Administrative Notices are required, they will be issued in the same format and in a continuing numerical sequence.
